Must I have a dedicated server set up when I register a domain?

Yes.

At least two functioning domain names servers (DNS) should be presented for the registered name at request time. Non-accordance to this requirement can result in the failure of the completion of the registration. Contact 101Domain for more information or for more help setting up DNS.

On the first step when you order for a new domain we use our Bestdomains.gr default servers but you may change these servers to your registered during registration or aftet that at any time.
